Characterisation of visual parameters

The samples represent any surface where a consistent visual appearance is required. These could be door panels, dashboards on cars/vans, large painted surfaces, facias and other such items. By creating a metric characterisation of the surface texture subjective inspection by eye can be replaced by repeatable parameters with specific numbers. This improves quality and removes unknown variables caused by the subjective evaluation.
