Stable 3D measurements from development to production

The IF-Sensor25 is a solid optical 3D measurement instrument for automated form and roughness measurement in production. The sensor is integrated into a production line and delivers you high resolution, repeatable and traceable results when measuring surface characteristics in the µm or sub-µm range. This resolution can hardly be achieved by conventional 2D solutions or tactile techniques.

Alicona measurement systems offer the functionalities of a surface- as well as a coordinate measurement system combined into one system. As a result, your quality assurance becomes more cost effective, is easier to execute and delivers results more efficiently.

Measurement of 
steep flanks

Light coming from different directions is
used to positively influence a
measurement. In addition, the
measurement of the maximum flank
angle is not restricted by the numerical
aperture. Depending on surface, you can
measure up to 87°.

Measure components with varying surface finishes

Due to Alicona’s intelligent lightning technology quick and intuitive measurement of materials with varying surface characteristics or reflections patterns becomes possible. Modulated light provides optimal illumination throughout the whole measurement area.

FOCUS-VARIATION TECHNOLOGY

Focus-Variation combines the small depth of focus of an optical system with vertical scanning to provide topographical and color information from the variation of focus. The main component of the system is a precision optic containing various lens systems that can be equipped with different objectives, allowing measurements with different resolution.
