New release for InfinteFocus – faster and more user-friendly than ever!





Benefit from greatly enhanced Real3D measurements. Use the latest 3.5 release to measure form and roughness – fill the gap between tactile coordinate measurement and surface measurement technology. Up to 3 times faster measurements, additional optional measurement modules, higher industrial compatibility and more intuitive user guidance make InfiniteFocus to an even more efficient tool in quality assurance, research and development.

New measurement modules and utilities


  • Target/actual comparison of components
    Reverse engineering and wear measurements are easily achieved in this version. Compare and evaluate manufactured components with reference geometry.
  • Highly accurate form measurements
    Measure angles and distances in every inclination and out of every perspective! Gain even more detailed information of the surface than possible with 2D profile cuts.
  • Measure form deviations
    Measure form deviations to geometric shapes such as spheres, cones or cylinders.
  • Form and roughness in one measurement
    Measure form and roughness in one measurement process! Via removing form, even most complex components can be measured most accurately.

Enhanced user-friendliness


  • Easier roughness measurement
    Within a very short measurement time the values Ra, Rq and Rz are displayed fully automatically. The automatic Lc selection grants best possible measurement settings. This essentially increases usability.
  • More intuitive settings for 360° measurements
    Defining the measurement is now even more intuitive. Simply type in the maximum and minimum radius as well as the angular range to be measured – you are all set to start the measurement.


Higher industrial compatibility


  • Import and export of data
    The Q-DAS data export allows even faster evaluations of the results in combination with the common software Q-DAS. Furthermore DXF-data export and CAD-data import are fully supported.
  • Automation
    The enhanced scripting functionalities allow automated measurements of even very complex geometries.

    From now on your InfiniteFocus measurements are up to 3 times faster. These short measurement durations are also valid for large measurement fields.
