Direct smoothness measurement, error analysis and platen inspection
InfiniteFocus in paper and print industry
|
Easy to use and quick measurements InfiniteFocus is very easy to use. Users measure directly in the optical color image. Maximum quality assurance is achieved with a minimum of effort. ![]() Measure missing dots on printed paper InfiniteFocus simplifies the error analysis. The 3D measurement system shows if the insufficient color application is due to missing dots. This again is due to the paper surface. ![]() Evaluate the printability InfiniteFocus measures the surface in 3D. This enables analysis of the true paper quality, allowing a measured conclusion to its printability. Methods to increase the printability can then be numerically verified and documented. ![]() Mobile platen inspection The cup measurement on platens is performed with the mobile IF-Portable. The mobile measurement system from the InfiniteFocus product line is directly positioned on the platen. ![]() |

Roughness and form measurement devices of the InfiniteFocus line
The measurement systems of the InfiniteFocus line are roughness and form measurement devices for quality assurance in the lab and in production. All measurement systems work within the area based technique Focus-Variation. The InfiniteFocus product group comprises the standard measurement system InfiniteFocus and a series of industry specific variants:- InfiniteFocus-Standard for surface measurement including form measurement
- InfiniteFocus-Real3D for a full form measurement via 360° rotation
- IF-Portable for mobile measurement of large components and platens
- IF-EdgeMaster for cutting edge measurement and hob measurement
- IF-ToolPrecision for automatic and high resolution measurement of tap tools
- IF-Robot for surface measurement with a measuring robot
- IF-Sensor for measurement of roughness, form and orientation in the production line
