Alicona keeps growing!
Former head of Siemens´ division "SISCAN - Optical inline inspection" is now CEO of Alicona subsidiary.
In February Matthias Stroessner joined the Alicona team as new CEO of Alicona GmbH, Germany. The well experienced specialist in optical inline measurement and former head of "SISCAN - Optical inline inspection" was at last the worldwide sales manager of the SISCAN sensor.
As expert in automation and customized measurement solutions, Stroessner has watched the development and growth of Alicona with great interest. “One the first things that really caught my eye was the outstanding visualization even of complex topographies and geometries”, Stroessner about the first contact with Alicona. “Furthermore I was impressed of the continuous growth of the company and its overall development, also towards 3D inline measurement. Both, the high resolution measurements and the inline capability of the InfiniteFocus sensor have convinced me. Today industry demands highest surface quality at smallest tolerances which requires high resolution measurement techniques. This is perfectly realized with the Focus-Variation technology and the Alicona inline sensor. Offline as well as inline!”, Stroessner about the key competences of the optical 3D measurement supplier.
For Stroessner, the decisive factor to join Alicona was the carve out of the entire SIPLACE business unit of Siemens, including SISCAN. “My passion is optical measurement solutions, developed and realized by one dedicated team, supported by a powerful leadership and committed to a collective philosophy! And here I found this attitude.”
With his expertise in customized measurement solutions, Matthias Stroessner will work with the successful existing team in Germany and mainly focus on the provision of inline measurement. So, Alicona continues its growth also in an economical challenging environment. “With our outstanding products based on the technology of Focus-Variation we offer cost effective solutions in terms of a targeted orientation towards quality increase.
