Measurement of corrugated high-frequency cables

Rosendahl Maschinen GmbH is a global leading cable manufacturer of corrugated high frequency cables. Working in conjunction with Alicona Imaging a flexible and fully automatic optical measurement bench to measure the outer contour of copper bonded cables up to 56mm diameter has been developed.

State of the art components and assemblies with special illumination and accurate optical systems provide a measurement accuracy of 10µm. Results are tabulated and presented as error lists.

The measurement bench also offers additional benefits such as statistical computations of deviation from tolerance including contour, wave period and impedance
